Generic Versions Of Subutex And Suboxone Now Available
By Jon Heller, 28 Nov 10:01
In a story published at Addiction Feeds, Roxane Labs has announced the generic launch of Buprenorphine HCl Sublingual Tablets, 2mg and 8mg.
Approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the Buprenorphine (with Nalaxone as Suboxone; without as Subutex) is available in bottles of 30 for immediate shipment to wholesalers and pharmacies nationwide.
The main ingredient in Suboxone and Subutex, Buprenorphine allows for a comfortable, pain-free detox from heroin, vicodin, morphine and other strong prescription medications. In the past, withdrawal and detox from opiates would require admission to a hospital or detox facility. Today, detox from these same very strong drugs can be accomplished successfully on an outpatient basis, or a combination of inpatient and outpatient detox.
Roxane Laboratories’ Buprenorphine HCl Sublingual Tablets are AB rated to SUBUTEX® (buprenorphine HCl) tablets.
